从艺术手法看弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫后殖民意识的双重性

摘　　要：分析了弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫主要小说中象征和反讽的艺术技巧,认为她通过借助象征手法来渲染殖民事业、张扬大英文明,体现出根深蒂固的殖民立场和帝国情结;同时,通过运用反讽艺术来揭示帝国主义和殖民主义的丑恶面目,表现出反帝反殖的进步倾向。并且指出,伍尔夫是一位具有殖民与反殖民双重意识的现代主义作家,其殖民思想悖反性的形成,与其出身、所处的时代背景和文化环境密切相关。This article analyzes the artistic skills of symbolism and irony in Virginia Woolf s main novels,and concludes that she uses symbolism to exaggerate her colonial cause and make public the British civilization,reflecting her deep-rooted colonial position and empire complex;at the same time,she reveals the ugly face of imperialism and colonialism through the use of ironic art,showing anti-imperialism and anti-colonialism progressive tendency.It points out that Woolf is a modernist writer with double consciousness of colonization and anti-colonialism,and the formation of her anti-colonial thoughts is closely related to her origin,era background and cultural environment.
