摘　　要：2020年10月10日,世界显微外科界痛失一位标杆性人物——约瑟夫·E·库茨医生。1928年6月11日,库茨医生出生在美国密歇根州斯坦迪什。从1964年到87岁退休,他专注于手外科和显微重建外科事业。他是克莱因特-库茨手外科中心的联合创始人之一,并于1999年成功进行了全美第一例异体手移植手术。库茨医生的专业技术使世界上很多人都受益,这不是他的工作,这是他毕生的心血。The world lost an icon when Dr.Joseph E.Kutz left us on Saturday.October 10,2020.Dr.Kutz was bom on June 11.1928 in Stjmdish Michigan.He specialized in surgery of the hand and reconstructive microsurgery from 1964 until his retirement at the age of 87.He was a co-founder of Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center and performed the nation's first successful hand transplant in 1999.Many people all over the world benefitted from his expertise.It was not a job to Dr.Kutz.it was his passion.
