摘 要:新人力资本理论的发展,为科学论证性格决定命运这一备受关注的观点提供了有利的契机。文章基于2014年中国家庭追踪调查数据,沿用"大五人格"量表和欧洲基金会的做法分别对农民工的非认知能力和就业质量进行测量,探讨非认知能力对农民工的就业质量的影响。研究发现,非认知能力对农民工的就业质量具有显著的正向影响,其中宜人性特征影响作用最大,并且上述影响在性别之间和代际之间存在明显差异。从而进一步利用中介模型识别非认知能力对农民工就业质量的影响机制,发现非认知能力不仅对就业质量有直接影响,还可以通过人力资本效应和社会资本效应对就业质量产生间接影响。The development of the new human capital theory provides a favorable opportunity for the scientific argument that Personality determines destiny.Based on the data of 2014 China Family Panel Studies,this paper uses the big five personality scale and the European Foundation to measure the non-cognitive skills and employment quality of rural migrant workers,and discusses the impact of non-cognitive ability on them.It is found that the non-cognitive ability has a significant positive impact on the employment quality of rural migrant workers,among which the agreeableness has the greatest impacts.And there are obvious differences between genders and generations.This paper further uses intermediary model to identify the influence mechanism of non-cognitive ability on the employment quality of rural migrant workers,and finds that non cognitive ability can not only directly affect the employment quality,but also indirectly affect the employment quality through human capital effect and social capital effect.
