摘　　要：语言对越南少数民族社会的发展具有重要作用。制定既符合客观现实又能满足实际需求的越南语言文化政策,第一要务就是理清越南少数民族地区的语言种类及其功能。少数民族的母语多在族群内交际时使用,而在族群之外交际时则可能使用第二语言。因此,少数民族大多是双语民族,其第二语言大多是使用最为广泛的越语。Languages play a significant role in the development of ethnic minority society of Vietnam.To formu⁃late language and culture policies of Vietnam conforming to objective reality and meeting actual demands,top priority should be given to untangle varieties and functions of languages in ethnic minority areas of Vietnam.Na⁃tive languages of ethnic minorities are mostly used for communication within ethnic groups and a second lan⁃guage may possibly be used for communication outside the ethnic groups.Therefore,most ethnic minority people are bilingual in Vietnam.For the most part,their second language is the most widely used Vietnamese language in Vietnam.
