摘　　要：美国的基础研究工作在全球一直处于领先地位,这与联邦政府稳定的经费投入及成熟的管理机制密不可分。通过梳理联邦政府支持基础研究的发展历程及管理体系,分析得出联邦政府支持基础研究的特点:重视政策立法的宏观引导、建立稳定的经费投入机制、采取灵活多样的资助方式以及实施严谨公正的评估机制,并据此提出促进我国基础研究发展的启示建议。The basic research of the United States has always been in a leading position in the world,which is closely related to the stable investment and mature management mechanism of the federal government.Based on a systematical review of the development process and management system of federal government,illustrating the characteristics of the federal government for supporting basic research,including attaching great importance to the guidance of policy and legislation,establishing a stable funding mechanism,applying flexible and diverse funding methods,and implementing an impartial evaluation mechanism,and proposing some implications to promote the development of basic research in China.
