从女性主义视角解读《第五个孩子》中的母亲形象

摘　　要：多丽丝·莱辛是20世纪英国文坛的杰出女作家,是2007年的诺贝尔文学奖获得者。莱辛作为女性作家,非常自然地从女性视角进行写作,刻画了众多形象鲜明的女性人物。在《第五个孩子》这部作品中,体现了她对英国传统家庭模式中母亲身份的关注。从女性主义角度出发分析《第五个孩子》中所塑造的母亲形象,重点考察在当时传统的父权社会中,母亲身份对女性主体的制约和压迫,并进一步思考当今社会中女性主体自我价值的实现。Doris Lessing is an outstanding female writer in the 20 th century English literary world and the winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Literature.Lessing,as a female writer,wrote naturally from a female perspective,portraying many distinctive female characters.In The Fifth Child,she embodies her focus on the identity of mothers in traditional British families.From the perspective of feminism,the essay analyzes the image of the mother portrayed in this novel,focusing on the restriction and oppression of the motherhood on the female subject in the traditional patriarchal society at that time,and further thinking about the realization of the self-worth of the female subject in today’s society.
