摘　　要：近年来我国境外并购的数量和规模相比以往都有显著性的增长,然而企业在境外并购的过程中需要适应不同文化环境带来的挑战,孔子学院的海外发展,无疑为拉近中国与并购东道国的文化距离提供了契机。论文以2005—2017年我国上市公司发起的211起境外并购事件为样本,系统分析与检验了我国孔子学院的海外发展对上市企业境外交流的影响。In recent years,the number and scale of my country’s overseas M&As have increased significantly compared to the past.However,companies need to adapt to the challenges brought about by different cultural environments in the process of overseas M&As.The overseas development of Confucius Institutes undoubtedly contributes to closer China and M&A.The cultural distance of the host country provides an opportunity.Based on the samples of 211 overseas mergers and acquisitions initiated by Chinese listed companies from 2005 to 2017,the paper systematically analyzed and tested the influence of the overseas development of Confucius Institutes in my country on the overseas exchanges of listed companies.The empirical results show that the establishment of Confucius Institutes can indeed have a positive impact on the stock performance of mergers and acquisitions.At the same time,Confucius Institutes play different roles in economic activities in countries with different cultural distances from China.
