元代江南地域运河的浚治与功用

摘　　要：大运河的开凿是政治中心与经济重心远离的结果。元代修治前代运河而成为南北大运河,这是隋代以来中国最为重要的交通运输线。南北大运河在元代实际社会中对接海运,形成海河联运形式,以运送漕粮;除漕粮之外的物品,特别是从广州一带转输海外贸易而来的舶货主要也是通过运河北上;另还有使节及属下、官吏等各种人士,南来北往也经由大运河。大运河的贯通发挥了不可替代的作用。可以说,元代的大运河不仅是明清两代漕运的基础和铺垫,也是元代政治、经济中交互调节货运和人员往来的交通网络通道。不言而喻,南北大运河是元代统治者的生命线,有元一代对于大运河的疏浚和管理极为重视。The excavation of the Grand Canal was the result that the political center was far away from the economic center. The North-South Grand Canal,which was repaired during the Yuan Dynasty,was the most important transportation line in China since the Sui Dynasty. It was connected to the sea and formed a sea-river intermodal transportation of grain. In addition tothe tribute grain,the overseas trade goods,especially those from Guangzhou area,were also transported to the north by thecanal. Therewere envoys,subordinates,officials and other people’s north-south exchanges mainly through the Grand Canal,too.The connection of the Grand Canal has played an irreplaceable role. It can be said that the Grand Canal in the Yuan Dynasty was not only the foundation for the canal transportationin the Ming and Qing dynasty,but also a network channel for mutual regulation of freights and personnel exchanges in the politics and economy of the Yuan Dynasty. Then what role the canal of the Yuan Dynasty played in transportation deserves further discussion. It is self-evident that the North-South Grand Canal was the lifeline of the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty,and each generation of the Yuan Dynasty attached great importance to the dredging and management of the Grand Canal.
