管制成瘾物质名词的演变——从“鸦片烟”谈起

摘　　要："毒品"一词是中国人对管制成瘾物质的特殊称谓。从语言学的角度研究不同历史时期管制成瘾物质的名称及其词义发现,"鸦片烟"是世界上最早的毒品,它最初的词义是鸦片和烟草的拌合物,后来指纯鸦片;"烟毒"最初指鸦片,后来演变为毒品的总称;"毒品"的本义是有毒的物品,后来延伸出了新义(管制成瘾物质),并迅速取代本义。"毒品"一词的历时演变路径是从"鸦片烟"到"烟毒"、再到"毒品"。现代意义的毒品概念是中国人在三百年的禁毒实践中创造出来的。对"毒品"词源学的考察可以为构建中国特色禁毒话语体系奠定一定的理论基础。The term "dupin" is a special word used by Chinese people to describe controlledsubstances.Why do Chinese call them "dupin"?When did the modern term "dupin" begin?What is the evolution path of "dupin"?A linguistic study of the names and meanings of controlled substances in different historical periods in China reveals that:"yapianyan" (madak)was the earliest illicit drug in the world,and its original meaning was the mixture of opium and tobacco,which later became pure opium.The term "yandu" first referred to opium,and then became the general name of illicit drugs.The term "dupin" first referred totoxic substances,then it extended the new meaning and quickly replaced the original meaning.The evolution path of the term"dupin" is from "yapianyan"and "yandu",and then to "dupin".It is found that the term "dupin" has been created by Chinese in the three hundred years of drug controlling practice.This study can provide a theoretical foundation for the establishment of anti-drug discourse system with Chinese characteristics.
