摘　　要：为了解决传统水表抄表带来的不便,本文提出一种基于ESP-32的水表摄像直读系统。该系统由ESP-32和PC端组成。水表表盘图片通过ESP-32开发板上的OV2640摄像头进行获取,然后将图片进行jpg压缩,通过RS485传输到PC端。PC端对传输来的图片采用OpenCV进行预处理和全字和半字的识别,将目标数值提取出来并放入数据库当中。设计的硬件系统稳定性好,数据传输准确。同时PC端可以准确的识别出水表上的目标数值,精确度高。In order to solve the inconvenience caused by traditional water meter reading,this paper proposes a water meter camera direct reading system based on ESP-32.The system consists of ESP-32 and PC terminal.The picture of the water meter dial is obtained through the OV2640 camera on the ESP-32 development board,and then the picture is compressed in jpg and transmitted to the PC via RS485.The PC uses OpenCV to preprocess and recognize the whole word and half word of the transmitted picture,and extract the target value and put it into the database.The designed hardware system has good stability and accurate data transmission.At the same time,the PC terminal can accurately identify the target value on the water meter with high accuracy.
