西部高校图书馆外文文献资源建设困境与思考

摘　　要：外文文献是高校师生进行科学研究的重要资料,但西部高校图书馆外文资源建设的现状不容乐观。文章探讨了如何在外文资源被垄断、经费短缺的情况下积极建设外文文献资源,提高外文馆藏能力,最大限度地保障学校的科研和教学需求。提出在计算机技术、信息技术高速发展促进了信息资源多元化的今天,应重视开放获取(OA)资源的开发和整合,并列举了一些网络OA外文资源。Foreign literature is an important source of scientific research, and the rapid development of computer technology and informationtechnology promotes the diversification of information resources. Thispaper analyzed the current situation of foreign languagedocumentary resources construction in university library in the west and fromfour aspects discusses howto improve the ability of foreignlanguage collection actively, maximum security ofscientific research and teaching requirements under the condition of the foreign languagecollection resources monopoly, shortage of funds, and lists some network OA foreign resources for reference.
