摘　　要：目前,上海已经基本完成第二次全国地名普查数据调查及入库阶段工作。根据国家地名普查办公室提出的"边普查边应用"的精神和上海市第二次全国地名普查的成果要求,由上海市各区规划和自然资源局策划,以上海市第二次全国地名普查成果、各区地名文化研究成果、上海市测绘院丰富的地理信息数据资源和图集编制经验为基础,联合编制并面向公众公开出版了《图说地名》系列图册(以下简称《图册》)。该文介绍了《图册》的编制背景、设计思路和框架内容,阐述了《图册》的设计亮点,并分析了编制《图册》的科学价值和社会价值。At present,Shanghai has basically completed the data investigation and storage stage of the second national geographic name survey.According to the spirit of"application while census"put forward by the National Geographical Names Census Office and the requirements of the results of the second national census of geographical names in Shanghai,we have jointly compiled and published a series of Illustrated Toponym(hereinafter referred to as ATLAS)for the public based on the results of the second Shanghai national geographical names census,the cultural research results of district names,and the rich geographic information data resources and ATLAS compilation experience of the Shanghai Institute of Surveying and Mapping planned by Shanghai municipal districts and Natural Resources Bureau.This paper introduces the compilation background,design ideas and framework of ATLAS,expounds the design highlights of ATLAS,and analyzes the scientific and social value of ATLAS compilation.
