At present, there is little research on using an algorithm to jointly process AIS mixed signals. On this basis,a combined method of AIS signal separation and detection estimation based on Per-Survivor–Processing(PSP)is proposed in this paper. When the mixed signal had a large relative time delay, the mixed signal was first detected by using the amplitude extreme point, and the mixed signal was divided into the overlapped segment and the unoverlapped segment. After the linear approximate processing of the overlapped signals, the blind separation was carried out using PSP,and the signals in the overlapped and unoverlapped segments were detected by PSP.After detection, the original signal was restored according to the specific message format of AIS signal. When the relative time delay was small, the simulation results of piecewise processing and non-piecewise processing had little difference, and the joint processing was directly performed to reduce the complexity.Simulation results show that this method can not only combine the process of separation and detection, but also has low bit error rate. Therefore, this method has very important research significance.
