摘　　要：图书馆的参考咨询工作正向数字化参考服务形式转化,我们应该充分认识这种趋势,注重开展设定标准化的服务程式、加强网络信息资源建设工作。从虚拟参考咨询服务产生背景及概念、特点与意义、服务模式、评价分析方面阐述虚拟参考咨询服务进行评价与比较,力求对该工作的水平做出正确判断,掌握现阶段以北京石油化工学院图书馆的虚拟参考咨询服务工作为例,虚拟参考咨询服务对学校教学、科研工作开展的支持程度。The Reference Service of the library is transforming to the digital reference service,we should fully understand this trend,pay attention to setting standardized service program and strengthen the construction of network information resources.This paper expounds the evaluation and comparison of the virtual reference service from the aspects of its generating background,concept,characteristics and significance,service mode,evaluation and analysis,in order to make a correct judgment on the level of the work,to grasp the current stage of the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology’s virtual reference service as an example,the virtual reference service to school teaching,scientific research support.
