摘　　要：西南大区时期是重庆市建筑创作的第一个高峰。该文回顾大区时期重庆市属惟一一家以民用建筑为主兼具市政、勘测设计等专业资质的综合设计机构——市设计院的主要建筑作品,对这些代表作品的建筑风格文化趋向与成因进行解读,揭示主政大西南的三位开国元勋对建筑“人民至上”的政治判断与历史经验。The Southwest Region Period witnessed the first peak of architectural creation in Chongqing.This paper reviewed the main architectural works of the Municipal Design Institute,the only comprehensive design agency in Chongqing that focuses on civil architecture with professional qualifications for municipal engineering,survey and design during the Period,and interpreted the cultural trends in architectural style and causes of these representative works,revealing the political judgment and historical experience of the"people first"embodiment in architecture by the three founding fathers who administrated the Southwest.
