The Textual Research on Shen Deqian’s Visit to Hangzhou

摘　　要：沈德潜晚年编纂《沈归愚自订年谱》,对其一生行迹作了大略的记录,其中不免有疏漏之处。如游杭之事,沈德潜曾数次入浙,或观赏西湖、钱塘美景,或应邀前往修志,或陪同乾隆巡幸。不过除三次随驾所记准确之外,其他几次杭州之游或失载,或误记。杭州之行是其首度出省,其声誉也随之扩展至两浙,且因与浙派诗人的密切交往而调整诗学宗尚,所以此事具有重要的意义,年谱中本不应有这些疏漏。本文根据相关文献对此进行考订,意在提醒研究者在使用这部年谱时应持审慎的态度。Shen Deqian compiled The Self Revised Chronology of Shen Guiyu(《沈归愚自订年谱》)in his later years, which recorded his life and deeds, but there were some omissions. For example, Shen Deqian visited Zhejiang several times, sometimes it’s for the sake of enjoying the beautiful scenery of West Lake and Qiantang, sometimes was invited to compile local chronicles, or accompanied Emperor Qianlong on a tour. However, in addition to the accuracy of the three trips with Qianlong, other trips to Hangzhou were lost or mistakenly recorded. His visit to Hangzhou was his first time out of his hometown and his reputation extended to eastern and western areas of Zhejiang province. He also adjusted his poetic concept because of his close contact with the poets of Zhejiang School. Therefore, the trips of great significance that there should be no such omissions in the chronicle. According to the relevant literature, this paper makes a textual research on the issues and the purpose is to remind researchers to be cautious when using this chronicle.
