摘　　要：刘尔炘是清末民国甘肃著名学者,潜心治学,学风朴实,致力教育,桃李遍陇,淡泊名利,保持气节,为甘肃学术发展和教育事业作出了卓越贡献,是陇上学者之典范。文章通过对其著述的深入研究,总结其学术思想及治学宗旨,探求其学术思想的形成背景,阐发其学术思想的内在特质。Liu Er-xin is a famous scholar in Gansu Province during the late Qing Dynasty.He is a man of integrity,indifferent to fame and wealth,and devoted all his life to study and education.He is a pioneer of scholar with a lot of students and has made outstanding contributions to Gansu's academic development and education.According to in-depth study of his writings,this paper summarizes his academic thoughts and academic purposes,explores the formation background of his academic thoughts,and expounds the inherent characteristics of his academic thoughts.
