摘  要:提出并实验验证一种基于纤芯失配的光纤赛格纳克(Fiber Sagnac Interferometer,FSI)温度和应变传感器。该传感器由细芯熊猫型保偏光纤(Thin-Core Panda Polarization Maintaining Fiber,TPMF)与细芯光敏光纤(Thin-Core Photosensitizer Fiber,TPSF)熔接并引入Sagnac环中制成。实验研究了不同TPSF长度对温度和应变灵敏度的影响。结果表明,当TPSF长度分别为12 cm和16 cm时,获得的最高和最低温度灵敏度为-1.93 nm/℃和-1.46 nm/℃,但TPSF长度对传感器的应变灵敏度影响不大,相关指标都优于相关文献报道的非填充或无涂层光纤温度和应变传感器。该传感器具有灵敏度高、制作简单、稳定性好等优点。在物理、生物和化学传感方面具有潜在的应用前景。A kind of optical fiber Sagnac interferometric temperature and strain sensor based on core diameter mismatched is proposed and experimentally demonstrated.The proposed sensor is fabricated with thin-core panda polarization maintaining fiber(TPMF)and thin-core photosensitizer fiber(TPSF)fused and introduced into Sagnac ring.The effects of length of TPSF on temperature and strain sensitivity are experimentally studied,the results show that when the TPSF length are 12 cm and 16 cm,respectively,the highest and the lowest temperature sensitivity are-1.93 nm/℃and-1.46 nm/℃,respectively;but the TPSF length has little influence on the strain sensitivity of the sensor.The related indexes are superior to the temperature and strain sensors of non-filled or uncoated fibers reported in related literatures.The proposed sensor has the advantages of high sensitivity,simple fabrication,good stability,and has a good application prospect in physical,biological and chemical sensing fields.
