摘　　要：蒙脱石(smectite,SM)是一种由颗粒极细的铝硅酸盐构成的层状黏土,具有吸附重金属、霉菌毒素、病原菌、细菌毒素和维护胃肠道黏膜及防治腹泻等功能。研究表明,SM能够缓解多种环境毒物对动物健康和生产造成的不利影响。饲粮中适量添加SM能提高畜禽生长和生产性能、提升畜产品品质、改善机体健康状况。文章简述SM的理化特性、主要功能及在畜禽饲粮中的最新应用进展,为SM更好地应用于饲料行业提供参考。Smectite is a kind of layered clay composed of extremely fine aluminosilicates. It has multiple bio-functions,such as adsorbing of mycotoxins, heavy metals, pathogenic bacteria, and bacteriotoxins, repairing and protecting the digestive gastrointestinal mucosa, and preventing and controlling diarrhea. It has been proved that smectite can alleviate the adverse effect of various environmental toxicants on animal health and production. Moreover, dietary supplementation with appropriate smectite can increase growth or production performance of animals, improve production quality, and promote their health status. The paper elaborated smectite’s main characteristics and functions and summarized the latest research findings on the application of smectite in livestock and poultry production, which provided reference for its using in animal production.
