摘　　要：骨质疏松症(osteoporosis,OP)与骨关节炎(osteoarthritis,OA)是两种与衰老密切相关的骨骼疾病,随着社会人口的老龄化,这已成为非常普遍的健康问题。过去人们的注意力常集中在二者相反的关系上,观察到这两种疾病都影响老年人,却很少在同一个人身上共存,并且在体质量指数、表型、病死率等方面也存在差异。然而,近年来一些研究报道了两种疾病之间的紧密联系,重新引起对这一问题的争论。本文综述OP与OA在流行病学、骨密度(bone mineral density,BMD)、骨微结构、分子生物学、遗传学及表观遗传学等方面的联系,认为就目前的研究发现而言,尚不能就二者之间关系的性质作出明确判断。正视现存的争议有助于更加全面地了解OP和OA的关系。Osteoporosis(OP)and osteoarthritis(OA)are two kinds of bone diseases,which has become a very common health problem with the aging of the population all over the world.It was considered that there is an inverse relationship between OP and OA,since both diseases usually affect the elderly,but rarely coexist in a single person,and there are differences in body mass index,phenotype and mortality between them.However,recent studies have reported a close connection between the two diseases,renewing the debate on this issue.This review analyzes the correlation between OP and OA in the areas of epidemiology,bone density(BMD),bone microstructure,molecular biology,genetics,and epigenetics.It is considered that,as far as the current research findings,it is impossible to make a clear judgment on the nature of the relationship between the OP and OA.Facing the existing controversy may help us understand the relationship between OP and OA.
