大数据背景下定量社会研究方法的创新

摘　　要：大数据不仅是一种数据资料,也是一种分析方法,大数据背景下的社会研究方法需要创新。社会研究方法虽然包括了定性研究与定量研究,但是定量分析一直占据主导地位,因此大数据可以应用到定量研究的资料收集和资料分析过程中。大数据背景下定量社会研究方法的创新可以概括为:遵循社会研究“提出假设—数据检验”的逻辑选择“大数据”资料,超越“样本—总体”的认识途径直接认识“总体”,深化个人“观念—行为”的研究题材实现“全生命”研究,整合“收集资料—分析资料”过程实现“大数据方法”的融合。但是大数据也有局限性,无法取代传统的社会研究方法。可通过在定量社会研究方法中引入大数据资料与方法、发展大数据统计分析方法、建立大数据运用的协调机制等措施来促进定量社会研究方法的创新。Big data is not only a kind of data, but also an analysis method. Social research methods in the context of big data require innovation. Although social research methods include qualitative research and quantitative research, quantitative analysis has always been dominant. Therefore, big data can be applied to the data collection and data analysis process of quantitative research. In the context of big data, the innovation of quantitative social research methods can be summarized as below: following the social research logic of "hypothesis-data test" to choose the "big data", transcending the knowing way of "sample-general" to know "overall" directly, deepening the research on individual "concept-behavior" theme to achieve the "whole life" research, and integrating the process of "collecting data-analyzing data" to realize the implementation of the "big data methods". However, the big data also has limitations and cannot replace the traditional social research methods. The innovation of quantitative social research methods can be promoted by introducing big data materials and methods into quantitative social research methods, developing big data statistical analysis methods, and establishing a coordination mechanism for the use of big data.
