谈民族哲学的意义——兼答李河之问

摘　　要：如何认识民族哲学及哲学的民族性,这是20世纪以来重要的学术问题。李河就此提问:民族哲学有何意义?他着眼于思维形式来回答,并据此而否定民族哲学和哲学的民族性。此论十分片面。从思维内容来看,"民族哲学"是科学哲学的一个学科门类,而"民族的哲学"属哲学、哲学史学科,是对民族文化、民族精神、民族生命历程的反思与自觉,是对民族精神、民族共同体意识的自觉,其重要的学术意义不容否定;哲学源于科学认识,也是对民族文化的结晶,故而不可避免地有民族性。中国哲学史是"中国的"哲学史、中华民族的哲学史,而中华民族思想文化的根本结构和本质特征在于"多元一体",因此中国少数民族哲学史是中国哲学史的有机部分,它从"多元一体"的理念出发,既研究各民族的个性、"多元"性,更从这种个性和"多元"性中阐明和认识中华民族思想文化、民族精神的共性、"一体"性。这符合认识过程从个性到共性的辩证规律。因此,据"多元一体"理念以研究少数民族哲学史,有助于增强中华民族共同体意识,有助于中华民族共有精神家园的建设,有助于增强中华民族凝聚力。李河认为,在中国以至任何一个多民族国家中谈论民族哲学都不利于国家的统一和民族团结,只有负面的政治意义。此说不懂得中华民族"多元一体"的本质、结构,不理解多元与一体的关系,是片面的。A correct understanding of the ethnicity in philosophy in general and"national philosophy"has been a key academic pursuit since the 20 th century.Professor Li He questioned"what is the significance of‘national philosophy’"?Because his answer to this question focuses on the forms of thinking,he concludes that there is no ethnicity in philosophy in general and"national philosophy".His conclusion is incorrect.In terms of its content,"national philosophy"is a branch of scientific philosophy and the history of philosophy,which is the critical refection on a given national culture,a national spirit and a national history as well as the self-consciousness of a given national spirit and national community with much academic significance.Philosophy originates from scientific understanding,and is also the academic crystallization of a national culture with its ethnicity.The history of Chinese philosophy is related to that of the Chinese nation.The essential characteristics of the ideology and culture of the Chinese nation find expression in the unity in diversity in which the philosophical history of the ethnic minorities of China as an organic part of Chinese philosophy focuses on both the individuality and diversity of each ethnic group as well as the unity in the ideology and culture of the Chinese nation and its national spirit.This approach is in line with the dialectical understanding of the process from individuality to generality.The study of the philosophical history of the ethnic minorities of China based on the concept of the unity in diversity will enhance the communal sense of the Chinese nation,the construction of a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation,and the cohesion of the Chinese nation.Professor Li He holds that the discussion of"national philosophy"in China or in any multi-ethnic nation-state is no good to the national unity due to its negative political impacts,which reflects his one-sided view and his failure in understanding the nature of the unity in diversity of the Chinese nation as we
