中外学者期刊论文评价性词汇使用的对比研究

摘　　要：基于Martin&White的评价理论,本研究对比了中外学者在期刊论文讨论部分使用态度评价、介入评价、级差评价的异同。本研究发现:与本族语学者相比,在使用数量上,中国学者过低使用了态度评价、接纳评价和级差评价;在使用规律上,中国学者使用三类评价性词汇的形式变化都明显少于本族语学者。上述情况可能会在一定程度上影响传情达意的充分性,阻碍学术语篇之间互动性,损害修饰命题的适切性。Drawing upon Martin & White’s appraisal theory, this study reports a comparative study of attitude, engagement and graduation in Chinese and native scholars’ journal articles. Data analyses show that Chinese scholars underuse institution-alized attitude, entertain and graduation. Their uses of evaluative language also lack form variations in comparison with the native scholars, which have negative influence on expressing their attitude fully, interactively and appropriately.
