摘　　要：赵宏本在中国连环画史上是一位不可或缺的人物,早在20世纪30年代便在上海连环画界声名鹊起。他历经了我国连环画事业起步、发展、繁荣、衰退的各个阶段,为连环画的普及与推广作出了卓越贡献。1949年前,赵宏本运用连环画抨击侵略者,抵制国民党的文化专制。建国后,赵宏本以饱满的热情投身到新中国连环画事业中。赵宏本的连环画人物形象或犀利刚健、或绰约多姿,线条行云流水,构图生动别致。连环画《孙悟空三打白骨精》是赵宏本的代表作品,被誉为连环画古典题材创作的一个高峰。Zhao Hongben is an indispensable figure in the history of Chinese comic books.He has been famous in Shanghai comic books as early as 1930s.He has gone through the stages of the beginning,development,prosperity and decline of the comic books industry in China,and has made outstanding contributions to the popularization and promotion of the comic books.Before liberation,Zhao Hongben used comic books to attack the invaders and resist the cultural autocracy of the Kuomintang of China.After the founding of the people's Republic of China,Zhao Hongben devoted himself to new China's comic books business with full enthusiasm.The characters in Zhao Hongben's comic books are sharp and vigorous,or graceful,with flowing lines and vivid and unique composition.The comic books“Monkey King Subdues the White Bone Demon Three Times”is Zhao Hongben's masterpiece,which is praised as a peak of the classical theme creation of the comic books.
