从主位理论看文言散文的英译--以《归去来兮辞》为例

摘　　要：文章基于主位理论,以《归去来兮辞》及罗经国英译版为语料,对比分析《归去来兮辞》汉英语篇的主位,解读两文本在主位类型呈现上的异同,以及其与译者主体性、语篇功能、人际功能之间的联系,探究译者在翻译过程中对汉语文本的改动性识解,解析译文与汉语文本在主位结构上的等值翻译,阐释主位理论在文言散文翻译实践与研究方面的作用。Luo Jingguo’s English translation of“Going Home”reproduces the connotation and significance of the classic Chinese text.Based on the thematic theory,this paper uses“Going Home”and its translated version by Luo Jingguo as corpus to make a comparative analysis of themes of Chinese and English texts.It attempts to interpret the similarities and differences between two versions in the presentation of thematic types and their relations with the translator’s subjectivity,textual function and interpersonal function.It also explores the translator’s modified understanding of the Chinese text in the process of translation,analyzes the equivalent translation of the translated text and the Chinese text in the thematic structure,and elucidates the effect of the thematic theory in the practice and research of classical Chinese prose translation.
