摘　　要：《恨海》是清末小说家吴趼人的首篇"写情小说",以"庚子事变"为背景,描写了两对年轻人的情感生活,凸显了新旧交替时代的道德冲突。文章以主要人物心理描写的量化分析为依据,阐释心理描写对表现人物性格、推进情节发展的作用,进而揭示特殊历史时期传统与现代思想存在的矛盾冲突。Hate the Sea is the first"love novel"by the novelist Wu Jianren in the late Qing Dynasty,taking the“Gengzi Incident”as the background,described the emotional lives of two young couples.Highlights the moral conflict in the old and new era.This article is based on the quantitative analysis of the psychological description of the main characters,explain the role of psychological description in characterizing characters and promoting plot development,then reveal the conflicts between tradition and modern thought in a special historical period.
