摘 要:"凡物之质曰素"、"凡物无饰曰素"乃是"素"字重要的引申义。《毛传》训《伐檀》中"不素餐兮"之"素"为"空",应理解为"无肉相佐为空",而非"无功而食禄为空"。在"素餐""、素食"语义转换过程中,孟子的诠释对后世发生了极大影响。通过对《伐檀》之"素"义的《诗》学个案考察,我们得到的启示是,唯有把握经典之脉络义,方可寻得经典的意义生长点,从源头处看清经典诠释史上义理空间的展开过程。One of the most important extended meanings of the word Su is the Nature of Things or Things without Modification.Su in the verse Bu-su-can-xi(不素餐兮)from the poem Fartan is read as Kong in Mao Zhuan,which can be explained as no meat to match the dinner instead of accepting payments with no merits.It is notable that Mencius’related interpretations,contributing much to the whole process of the semantic transformation of Su from Su-can to Su-shi,have had a great impact on following readings.By investigating the meaning of Su in Fatan,we can see that it is significant to learn the whole process of the meaning change for locating the places where a different meaning emerged,and then we can back to the original meaning to clarify the historic process composed of different interpretations.
