《被遗弃的韦瑟罗尔奶奶》女主人公焦虑心理的霍妮式解读

摘　　要：文章从霍妮的焦虑理论出发,结合沙利文“重要的他人”概念,对美国杰出女性作家凯瑟琳·安·波特的著名短篇小说《被遗弃的韦瑟罗尔奶奶》进行再解读。通过对文本的具体分析,揭示女主人公在个体的微观环境和20世纪20至30年代美国社会文化的宏观环境双重交织下对男权和宗教产生的敌对冲动,以及对该冲动的压抑所引发的焦虑,并采取不同的防御性策略寻求人际安全感,以减轻焦虑。This thesis applies Karen Horney's anxiety theory and H.S.Sullivan's concept of"significant other"to interpret the heroine's anxious mind in The Jilting of Granny Weatherall written by Katherine Anne Porter.Through concrete textual analysis,it reveals Granny's anxiety caused by repressing her hostile impulses towards man and religion under the pressure of interpersonal environment and sociocultural environment of America in 1920s and 1930s,and she employs some defense strategies to seek security and release anxiety.
