评价理论视域下新闻语篇的态度分析——以马来西亚东海岸铁路项目新闻为例

摘　　要：研究以新海峡时报关于马来西亚东海岸铁路沿线项目的新闻语篇为研究语料,基于Martin和White的评价理论对语料进行态度分析。研究发现:(1)在态度语言资源的配置上,东海岸铁路项目的鉴赏类语言资源最多,其次是评判类语言资源,最后是情感类语言资源;(2)不同的语言资源均表达了马方对东海岸铁路项目的积极支持态度。从评价理论视角研究新闻语篇的态度,有利于了解马来西亚的利益诉求和合作期许,为中国和马来西亚及东南亚国家的未来经贸合作提供新的研究视角和启示。The study takes the New Straits Times news discourse on the project along the East Coast Railway of Malaysia as the research corpus,and attitude analysis is performed on the self-built corpora based the Martin&White’s Appraisal Theory.The study finds that:1)In the allocation of attitude language resources,the East Coast Railway project has the most appreciation language resources,followed by the judgement language resources,and finally by the affect language resources.2)Different language resources express the positive support attitude of the Malaysian side to the East Coast Railway Project.Studying the attitude of news discourse from the perspective of appraisal theory is conducive to understanding Malaysia’s interest claims and cooperation expectations,and provides new research perspectives and inspirations for future economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia and Southeast Asian countries.
