基元介质数对光子晶体光传输特性的调制

摘  要:运用传输矩阵法理论,通过计算机计算模拟,研究基元介质数对光子晶体光传输特性的调制规律,结果表明:无论是标准结构还是对称结构光子晶体,透射谱中均出现一条带宽很宽的主禁带,而且不同基元介质数光子晶体的主禁带带宽不一样。对于标准周期结构光子晶体(AB)^(m)、(ABC)^(m)和(ABCD)^(m),主禁带中不出现透射峰,但随着基元介质数增加,主禁带的带宽发生变化,而且主禁带两侧会出现若干条分立透射峰。对于对称结构光子晶体(AB)^(m)(BA)^(m)、(ABC)^(m)(CBA)m和(ABCD)^(m)(DCBA)^(m),主禁带中恒定出现一条透射率为100%的窄透射峰,随着基元介质数增加,主禁带中窄透射峰条数及其透射率保持不变,但主禁带及其中窄透射峰的带宽会变窄,同时主禁带两侧会出现若干条分立透射峰,而且分立透射峰的条数多于标准周期结构光子晶体主禁带两侧的透射峰条数。基元介质数对标准周期结构和对称结构光子晶体透射能带谱的调制规律,对新型光学滤波器、光学开关等器件的研究和设计具有一定的理论参考价值。Based on the theory of transfer matrix method and computer simulation,the modulation law of the number of elementary medium on the optical transmission characteristics of photonic crystal has been studied.The results show that there is a main forbidden band with wide bandwidth in the transmission spectrum,whether they are standard or symmetric structures.Moreover,bandwidth of the main forbidden band of photonic crystals with different number of elementary media is different.For standard periodic photonic crystals(AB)^(m),(ABC)^(m)and(ABCD)^(m),there is no transmission peak in the main forbidden band.However,with the increase of the number of elementary media,the bandwidth of the main forbidden band also changes,and there are several discrete transmission peaks on both sides of the main forbidden band.For symmetric photonic crystals(AB)^(m)(BA)^(m),(ABC)^(m)(CBA)mand(ABCD)^(m)(DCBA)^(m),there is a constant narrow transmission peak with 100%transmittance in the main forbidden band.With the increase of the number of basic medium,the number of narrow transmission peaks and their transmittance remain unchanged,but the bandwidth of the main forbidden band and its narrow transmission peak will become narrower.At the same time,there are several discrete transmission peaks on both sides of the main forbidden band,and the number of discrete transmission peaks is more than that of standard periodic structure photonic crystal.The modulation law of the transmission band spectrum of photonic crystals with standard periodic structure and symmetric structure by the number of elementary medium can provide theoretical guidance for the research and design of new optical filters,optical switches and other devices.
