摘　　要：ArcGIS软件是美国ESRI公司开发的地理信息应用程序,能对地理数据进行全面、系统的处理,其功能强大,在地图制图领域凸显其专业性,能方便地对栅格数据、矢量数据进行加工、处理,满足地图制图过程对地理数据录入、编辑处理、制图输出的需要。ArcGIS软件在开发过程中充分运用数据库技术,将要素与地理数据绑定,实现对各类地理数据的管理,也为ArcGIS软件实现制图表达、地图注记转换、地图符号化操作提供了便利化。ArcGIS software is a geographic information application developed by ESRI in the United States.It can process geographic data comprehensively and systematically.It has powerful functions and highlights its professionalism in the field of map mapping.It can easily perform processing on raster data and vector data,meeting the needs of geographic data input,editing and processing,and mapping output during the map-making process.ArcGIS software makes full use of database technology in the development process to bind elements and geographic data to realize the management of various geographic data.It also provides convenience for ArcGIS software to realize cartographic expression,map annotation conversion,and map symbolization operations.
