Objective:To investigate the effect of metformin combined with resistance exercise intervention on blood glucose in diabetic rats,as well as the effect of hypothalamic TGF-β1 and Smad2/3 content.Methods:High-sugar and high-fat diet feeding combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozocin(STZ)injection induced diabetic rat model, metformin and resistance ladder intervention,Western-Blot method to detect hypothalamic TGF-β1 in diabetic rats,Smad2/3 protein expression. Results:Metformin and exercise both have a certain hypoglycemic effect, and the most obvious effect is drug therapy, and the effect of combined intervention is lower than that of single intervention;metformin and resistance exercise intervention and their combined intervention,Smad2/3 and TGF-β1 expression have no signif icant changes. Conclusion:The 6-week course of diabetes may not damage the hypothalamus of rats. There may be a certain offsetting effect of resistance exercise and metformin drug intervention to reduce blood sugar in diabetic rats.
