摘　　要：由于历史原因,不少人把语文现代化看作一个内涵固定的历史性概念,而随着中国语文现代化阶段性任务的基本完成,人们一般不再关注语文现代化问题。然而,时代发展迫切需要语文现代化与时俱进、担当新使命,因此有必要重新审视语文现代化的基本问题,澄清误解,开启新征程。语文现代化不是一种静态模式,而是一个与时俱进的动态过程。回顾世界语文现代化历史可知,语言现代化的宗旨是不断满足时代对语言文字的需求,核心任务是不断改善和提升语言文字适应社会需求的能力及人高效使用语言文字的能力,以促进社会发展。语文现代化有若干层面,其核心是确立与时俱进的语言观念和提升服务时代需求的语言能力。在当今信息化智能化时代,我国语文现代化的重要使命是推进语言文字事业转型发展和“六化”建设,为国家发展和人类进步发挥新作用。Due to historical reasons,language modernization has often been regarded as a historical concept with a fixed connotation in China,and has generally been neglected since its provisional tasks were accomplished.However,in an era of rapid development,we need to reexamine and clarify the fundamental issues on language modernization so as to keep up with the times and undertake new missions."Language modernization"is not in a static state,but in an ever-changing dynamic process.A review of the world history of language modernization tells us that its purpose is to continuously meet the demands of the times on language,and its core tasks are the continuous improvement and enhancement of the ability of language to meet social needs and the ability of people to use language efficiently so as to promote social development.There are several levels of language modernization,the core of which is to establish a developmental view on language and to improve language abilities that serve the needs of the times.In an era of informatization and intelligentization,essential missions of language modernization in China are to advance the transformative development of the language career,and to promote its normalization,standardization,informationization,intelligentization,legalization and internationalization,making our contributions to national development and human progress.
