陈嘉庚精神对第一代“落地生根”华人的影响——以孙炳炎为例  

The Influence of Tan Kah-kee's Spirit on the First Generation of Chinese“Rooted”in Singapore:Taking Sun Bingyan as an Example

摘　　要：陈嘉庚先生致力于新加坡的华校建设、华文推广,他的精神和行为影响了一代代的新加坡华人华侨。孙炳炎是新加坡第一代“落地生根”华人华侨的代表,对新加坡华人教育在式微中得以保存、华人文化得以存续发展有自己的贡献。他是嘉庚倾资助学的受益者,也是嘉庚精神的追随者。他践行嘉庚精神,不仅继承了陈嘉庚先生兴资助学传统,更继承他的中华意识和对华人话语权的维护,对促成海外中华文化的交流和融合也起到了积极的作用。Mr.Tan Kah-kee was committed to the construction of Chinese schools and thepromotion of Chinese language in Singapore.His spirit and actions have influenced generations of overseas Chinese in Singapore.In Singapore,a group of Chinese,represented by Sun Bingyan,was the first generation of overseas Chinese in Singapore who“took root”.He contributed to the preservation of Chinese education in Singapore and the survival and development of Chinese culture in Singapore.He was a beneficiary of Mr.Tan's financial aid,and also a follower of Tan's spirit.He not only inherited Tan's tradition of funding overseas Chinese education,but also inherited his Chinese consciousness and his maintenance of the discourse right of Chinese people.Sun played a positive role in promoting the exchange and integration of overseas Chinese culture.
