摘 要:在早期中国电影的发展历程中,上海占有绝对的强势地位,其他区域或城市的电影业情况则散见于这一中心的边缘叙述。和上海的“中心”相对应,北京的电影业发展则是作为“地方性”的经验。1928年国民政府将首都南迁至南京,北京改名为北平特别市,成为政治层面上的“地方”。在地方性经验的影响下,看电影逐渐成为一种新式的社会礼仪,北京早期电影的格局在传统与现代、新与旧、地方与中心之间的角力中逐步形成,并折射出作为“地方”的现代性焦虑。In the early development of Chinese cinema,Shanghai occupied an overwhelmingly"central"place,while other regions and cities were considered as"marginal"in this narrative.In contrast to Shanghai's being central,Beijing was a margin in the fi lm industry.In 1928,while China's capital city was moved to Nanjing,Beijing was renamed the special city of Beiping and became a political margin.Under this influence,moviegoing soon became a social ritual.The structure of Beijing's early fi lm industry took shape in the battle between tradition and modernity,the new and the old,the margin and the center,refl ecting the modern anxiety of being"marginal".
