摘　　要：作为一个全国性的棉业学术团体,中华棉产改进会诞生于1931年,以“筹划全国棉产之改进”为宗旨,会员来自华商纱厂联合会、国内各产棉省之省立棉场及棉业机关。自成立以来,中华棉产改进会通过发行刊物、召开年会、举行演讲、组织棉业讨论会等途径,致力于棉产知识传播,开展学术研究和交流,探究中国棉业改良之途径。中华棉产改进会各项工作的开展及其成绩的取得,离不开相关团体、政府的支持与合作,是多方共同努力的结果。As a national academic group of cotton industry,the Chinese Cotton Improvement Association founded in 1931,and its purpose was to plan the improvement of cotton.Its members came from the Cotton Mill Federation of China and other cotton industry institutions.Since its establishment,the Chinese Cotton Improvement Association regularly issued Chinese cotton Bulletin and Cotton News,and convened annual meeting,as well as held lectures and cotton industry seminars,etc.Through these actions,the Chinese Cotton Improvement Association urged the dissemination of knowledge about cotton production,strengthened academic research&exchange,and explored the way to improve China’s cotton industry.The development and a-chievement of the Chinese Cotton Improvement Association were inseparable from the support of relevant groups and government,and were the result of joint efforts.
