摘 要:为研究双大孔高双折射光子晶体光纤(high birefringence photonic crystal fiber,HiBi-PCF)特性,建立了光纤端面具有7层正六边形空气孔,最里层空气孔由2个对称排列的大尺寸孔组成的光子晶体光纤模型,利用COMSOL软件对有效折射率、有效模场面积、非线性特性、色散特性进行了仿真与分析。研究结果表明,HiBi-PCF双折射的产生主要由最内层2个大空气孔的不对称性引起,产生的双折射值较大,达到了10^(-3)量级;双大孔HiBi-PCF的双折射随着波长的增加而增大;随着波长的增加,该双大孔HiBi-PCF有效模场面积也随之增加;在1500 nm至1600 nm的波长范围内,双大孔HiBi-PCF偏振基模的波导色散系数随着波长的增加而线性增加。通过模型仿真双大孔HiBi-PCF分析了其特性,为利用该光子晶体光纤进行实验研究提供了一定理论基础。In order to study the characteristics of high birefringence photonic crystal fiber with double macroporous HiBi-PCF,a photonic crystal fiber model with seven layers of hexagonal air holes at the end face and two symmetrical large-size holes in the innermost layer are established.The effective refractive index,effective mode field area,nonlinear characteristics and dispersion characteristics are simulated and analyzed by COMSOL software.The results show that the birefringence of HiBi-PCF is mainly caused by the asymmetry of two large pores in the innermost layer.The results also show that the birefringence of the double macroporous HiBi-PCF increases linearly with the increase of the wavelength;the effective mode field area of the double macroporous HiBi-PCF increases linearly with the increase of the wavelength;the waveguide dispersion coefficient of the polarization fundamental mode in the x and y directions of the double macroporous HiBi-PCF increases linearly with the increase of the wavelength in the wavelength range of 1500 nm~1600 nm.The simulation characteristics of double macroporous HiBi-PCF are studied,which provides a reference for further experimental research of photonic crystal fiber.
