摘 要:澳大利亚西澳洲Pilbara地台区的Mallina沉积盆地是重要的金成矿带,盆地内第四系覆盖严重,缺乏显著的找矿标志。Calvert金矿区位于此成矿带东部,自该处矿点发现以来,找矿工作未有大的进展,急需开展物探工作探索盲矿体。本次研究采用我国自主研发的SQ-3C双频激电仪对矿区开展双频激电法扫面,优选适用的测量装置及工作频率,并采取有效的措施克服电磁耦合干扰,最终圈定1处激电异常。通过钻探工程验证,控制了一条走向方位、金矿化分布与异常区高度吻合的金矿体,证实了双频激电法在该矿区寻找盲矿体的有效性,为该地区下一步找矿工作提供了有效的方法技术。研究表明,本次工作可以作为Pilbara地台区寻找同类型金矿床的勘查示范样板工程,对于整个地台区今后的找矿突破具有重要意义。The Mallina sedimentary basin in the Pilbara platform region of western Australia is an important gold metallogenic belt which is heavily covered by the quaternary system and lacks significant propecting signs.The Calvert gold deposit is located in the eastern part of the gold metallogenic belt.Since there has been no great progress in prospecting after the discovery of the ore spot,a geophysical exploration project is urgently needed to explore the blind orebody.This project introduced the SQ-3C dual frequency IP instrument independently developed by China to carry out the dual frequency IP scanning in the mining area,selected suitable facility and working frequency is based on the geological characters of the Calvert deposit and took some effective measures to weaken the interference triggered by the electromagnetic coupling.Finally,an IP anomaly zone was delineated.Through the verification of the drilling program in the IP anomaly zone,a gold ore body with strike orientation and gold mineralization highly consistent with the IP anomaly zone was controlled,which demonstrated the effectiveness of dual frequency IP method in searching blind orebody in this mining area,and provided an effective method and technology for the next prospecting work in this area.The study showed that this geophysical survey project can be used as a model project for the similar type of gold deposits in the Pilbara platform area,which is of great significance for the future prospecting breakthrough in the Pilbara area.
