摘　　要：“被自杀”“被就业”等新型被字句在之前的汉语语法体系中并不存在,而这种新颖的表达方式目前已经逐渐被人们广泛接受。本文主要就新型被字句的语法根基进行详细探讨。笔者认为,新型被字句中的“被”字,实际上是一个兼具实词性质的功能语类;作为一个以空主语(pro)为隐性外论元的使动结构,其隐含的施动者藏匿于pro之中。此外,新型被字句的使动性,使得句法嵌套成为可能。The emerging new type of“BEI”sentences such as“BEI zisha(suicide)”,“BEI jiuye(get a job)”did not exist in traditional Chinese grammar,but now this novel expression has been widely accepted.This research mainly discusses the syntactic ground for this new structure.It is argued that the character“BEI”in this new passive is a functional category with some substantive properties,and it takes a covert“pro”as its external argument,whereas the implied agent is hidden in the“pro”.In addition,the causative property of this novel structure enables the nesting of“BEI”in a given sentence.
