摘　　要：作为现代地图学的一个重要延伸和突出成果,地理信息系统在“现代地图学”课程中占据着重要地位,培养学生熟练运用Arc GIS软件解决实际问题能力成为课程教学的重要组成部分。考虑到有限的学时和不同软件的性能差异,Arc GIS软件成为学生操作实习的最佳选择。根据“现代地图学”的教学大纲,设计了与教学内容配套的Arc GIS软件应用内容,课堂讲授和实践训练的有机结合极大地促进了学生对现代地图学相关理论、技术和方法的理解和掌握,同时为学生综合能力的提升提供了有力支撑。As an important extension and outstanding achievement of modern cartography,GIS plays an important role in the course of Modern Cartography.Training students to master ArcGIS software and solve practical problems has become an important part of the course teaching.In view of the limited class hours and the performance differences of different software,ArcGIS software becomes the best choice for students to practice.According to the teaching syllabus of the course,the ArcGIS software application content that matches the teaching content is formulated.The organic combination of classroom teaching and practical training greatly promotes students’understanding and mastery of modern cartography related theories,techniques and methods,and provides strong support for the improvement of students’comprehensive ability.
