摘　　要：《红楼梦》的主题历来说法众多,然而追根究底,“假作真时真亦假”这句话便能体现其思想精髓,统筹全局。对此言的理解至今依然存在很多误读意见,比如认为这句话是在抨击以假乱真的粗俗,或是奉劝人们做闲云野鹤。其实“真”的本意是指不生不灭之理体,“假”指的是世间万事万物因缘生灭之相,“真亦假”的本来意趣是提醒世间人注意:大家朝思暮想热心追求之“财色名食”无非缘起之相,无常如“梦”,人间悲剧形成的根本原因就是“执假为真”,不能放手。作品通过不同角度不断显发这一主题,古今批评家相关评论也有很多,目的无非是想根治贪欲,疗救众生疾苦,然而以上误读则会使人矫枉过正误入歧途。所以,有必要正本清源,以期显发真意并思考该主题在今天生活中的现实意义。The theme of A Dream of Red Mansions has always been discussed in many ways.However,in the final analysis,the phrase"If false is taken as the truth,then truth is said to be lying"can not only embody the essence of Chinese traditional culture,but also fully coordinate the overall situation of the work.Unfortunately,there are still many misunderstandings in the academic circles.For example,the phrase"If false is taken as the truth,then truth is said to be lieing"is to criticize the vulgarity of falsehood,or to advise people to be wild cranes.Therefore,it is necessary for us to sort this out clearly in order to show the true meaning and to think about the practical significance of the theme in today's life.
