摘 要:聚丙烯酸酯乳液是水性油墨领域应用最广泛的一种连结料。丙烯酸乳液的固含量、粒径、黏度、稳定性等指标和性能都直接关系到最终油墨产品的印刷适性和印刷质量。本研究详细研究了水性树脂的中和度、用量对丙烯酸乳液黏度、稳定性等性能的影响,以及引发剂、链转移剂用量对乳液在聚丙烯(PP)薄膜上的附着力及其流平性的影响。结果表明:当水性树脂pH值为7时,得到的乳液具有最佳的稳定性和合适的黏度;适当增加水性树脂的用量,可以降低乳液的粒径,提高乳液的固含量;适当提高引发剂和链转移剂的用量,可以达到降低树脂分子量、改善乳液流平性能的目的;当引发剂和链转移剂的用量分别为7‰和5‰时,其乳液的流平性及其在PP薄膜上的附着性能最好。另外,还研究了不同的氧化还原反应体系对残留单体处理效果的影响,发现以叔丁基过氧化氢为氧化剂,抗坏血酸为还原剂,其比例为2∶1时可以制得残单含量低、气味小的聚丙烯酸酯乳液。Polyacrylate emulsion is the most popular binder in the water-based ink industry.The performance of the emulsion such as solid content,particle size,viscosity and stability has a significant influence on the printability and quality of the ultimate ink products.In this study,the effect of the neutralization degree and the dosage of water-based resin on the viscosity and the stability of the emulsion was studied in detail.Furthermore,the effect of initiator and chain transfer agent on adhesion and leveling of the as-prepared emulsion on PP film was further investigated.The results showed that the polyacrylate emulsion possessed excellent stability and satisfactory viscosity when controlling the pH of the aqueous resin was 7.Moreover,an increasing amount of the aqueous resin endows the emulsion with smaller particles as well as higher solid contents.The leveling property of the emulsion is improved obviously with an increase in the dosage of initiator and chain transfer agent due to the decrease in the molecular weight of polyacrylate resin.When the amount of initiator and chain transfer agent was 7‰and 5‰,respectively,the corresponding emulsion had the best leveling property and adhesion fastness to PP film.In addition,the function of different redox reactions on eliminating the residual monomers after polymerization was studied.A polyacrylate emulsion with few residual monomer contents and the small odor can be synthesized successfully when tertbutyl hydrogen peroxide was used as oxidant and ascorbic acid was used as reducing agent,their corresponding ratio was 2∶1.
