摘　　要：西方社会记忆研究的历史大致可以分为三个阶段:1920—1930年代的理论奠基时期、1980年代的“记忆潮”时期,以及正在进行中的“世界性记忆时期”。纵观西方记忆研究的脉络,记忆的机制和作用一直都是研究者关注的中心问题。记忆的形塑、记忆的传承以及记忆和认同的关系是其中最核心的三个问题。西方图书馆学记忆研究的范畴基本是在社会记忆研究的框架之下进行的,中国图书馆学记忆研究的理论性文章较少,多数研究是在信息管理框架下进行的“记忆资源开发和整理”研究,阐释性研究有待深入。The history of western social memory research can be roughly divided into three stages:the theoretical foundation period from the 1920s to 1930s,the"memory boom"period in the 1980s,and the ongoing"cosmopolitan memory".Throughout the context of western memory research,the mechanism and role of memory have always been the focus of researchers.The formation of memory,the inheritance of memory and the relationship between memory and identity are the three core issues.The research of western library science memory is carried out under the framework of social memory research.There are few theoretical articles on library science memory research in China.Most of the researches are carried out under the framework of information management,and further studies on interpretative research need to be done.
