摘　　要：王爷信仰是福建地区特别常见的一种民间信仰形态。福建地区王爷信仰的出现,有两个重要准备条件:一为福建社会的造神传统,二是直接且经常性瘟疫灾害的打击。通过对驱瘟文化传统的改造、福建地方社会的全面参与运作及对神明世界观念的特别改造,王爷信仰呈现出福建地区民间信仰的全新面貌。The folk belief of Ong Yah is one of many folk beliefs in Fujian.This paper holds that there are two important conditions for the emergence of Ong Yah belief in Fujian:one is the tradition of creating folk gods in Fujian society,and the other frequent plagues.Through the transformation of the traditional anti-plague culture,the active participation and operation of the local society in Fujian and the specific change of the concept of the world of gods,the folk belief of Ong Yah presents a new look in Fujian.
