Objective:To investigate the effects of mindfulness-based stress reduction(MBSR)using Tencent Meeting on anxiety and depression of isolated patients with COVID-19.Methods:A total of 63 confirmed patients admitted to the isolation ward of COVID-19 in Nanjing Public Health Medical Center from January 2020 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 30 cases in each. The control group received routine psychological care, and the experimental group received MBSR through Tencent Meeting. After 4 weeks of intervention, the changes of anxiety(SAS)and depression(SDS)self-rating scores as well as the differences in hospital satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were significantly lower than those before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant change in the scores of anxiety and depression in the control group before and after the intervention(P>0.05).Hospitalization satisfaction was higher in the intervention group(P<0.05).Conclusion:MBSR using Tencent Meeting can effectively relieve anxiety and depression of isolated patients with COVID-19 and improve their satisfaction with hospitalization.
