“曹植七步成诗”故事中的佛教因素 --兼述南朝政治与佛教互动的一个侧面

摘　　要：初见于《世说新语》的“曹植七步成诗”故事中或明或暗地杂合有许多佛教因素。其中“七步”来源于佛陀诞生神话,“煮豆”“釜”的意象来自于汉译佛典中对地狱的想象,甚至“兄弟阋墙”的故事模型都与早期佛教中提婆达多和佛陀的故事有某种暗和。这一方面反映了当时佛教与政治深刻的互动关系,另一方面也有着刘宋政权谋求政治合法性而进行叙事的努力。First seen in A New Account of the Tales of the World(Shi Shuo Xin Yu),the story that Cao Zhi composed a poem in seven steps involvess many Buddhist elements implicitly or explicitly.Among them,the“seven steps”is derived from the myth of the Buddha’s birth.The images of“boiled beans”and“cauldrons”come from the imagination of hell in the Chinese translation of Buddhist scriptures,and even the story of“internal strife”is parallel to the story of the feud between Devadatta and the Buddha in early Buddhism.On the one hand,it reflects the deep interaction between Buddhism and politics at that time.On the other hand,it also reflects the efforts of the Song Dynasty ruled by the Liu Family in seeking political legitimacy.
