摘　　要：英国传教士罗伯特·马礼逊的著作《华英字典》和他在该字典中所设计并使用的汉字注音系统,在西方汉学家用罗马字母注音汉字史上起到承前启后的关键作用。马礼逊注音系统因其语言背景具有显著的"英语化"的特点。以同化理论为指导,并从汉语作为第二语言学习者的角度出发,马礼逊的探索为我们解决汉语教学中遇到的问题提供新的思路。The A Chinese-English Dictionary written by English missionary Robert Morrison and the phonetic transcription system of Chinese Characters he designed and used in the dictionary play a key role in connecting the past with the future during the history of western Sinologists phoneticizing Chinese characters with Roman alphabet.Morrison’s phonetic system is markedly"Englishized"due to its language background.And under the guidance of assimilation theory,from the point of view of Chinese as a second language learner,it tends to provide us with new ideas to solve the problems in Chinese teaching.
