摘  要:通过熔融共混法制备聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)/纳米三聚氰胺氰尿酸盐(nano-MCA)和PET/密胺焦磷酸盐(MPP)硼酸锌(ZB)两个体系的无卤阻燃复合材料,研究了nano-MCA的添加量、MPP/ZB的复配比例对PET复合材料的热稳定性、力学性能和阻燃性能的影响。结果表明,两个体系阻燃剂均不同程度上损害了PET基体的力学性能,且能使分解提前开始并降低分解速率,发挥气相和凝聚相阻燃作用,使得复合材料氧指数升高,热量和烟气释放总量降低,并促进形成隔热炭层。nano-MCA因粒径更小分布较均匀,损害程度较小。而MPP/ZB由于热分解温度较低、分解速率较小且热量降低幅度大、形成的炭层紧密可抗熔滴,稳定性和阻燃性能优于nano-MCA。此外,MPP/ZB复配比例为10∶30的热释放总量(25.6 MJ/m^(2))、火灾生长指数[1.64 kW/(m^(2)·s)]、产烟量(1.5 m^(2))最低,残炭率(45.7%)最高,UL94测试达到V-1级,阻燃效果最好。综合比较三种性能,PET/MPP/ZB协同阻燃体系较为理想。Polyethylene terephthalate(PET)/nano melamine cyanuric acid salt(nano-MCA)and polyethylene terephthalate(PET)/melamine pyrophosphate(MPP)/zinc borate(ZB)halogen-free flame retardant composites were prepared by melt blending.The effects of the loadings of nano-MCA,MPP/ZB on thermal stability,mechanical properties of PET composites and the flame retardant performance were intensively investigated.The results show that the flame retardants of both blending systems shows damage to the mechanical properties of PET matrix to an extent,leading to an early occurrence of thermal decomposition and playing a role of flame retardancy due to the gas phase and condensate phase.Nano-MCA has a relatively weak damage to mechanical properties primarily owing to smaller particle size distribution and more uniform distribution.MPP/ZB,on the other hand,has better thermal stability and flame retardant performance than nano-MCA due to its low thermal decomposition temperature,low decomposition rate as well as compact formation of carbon layer.In addition,when the MPP/ZB compound ratio is 10∶30,the total heat release(25.6 MJ/m^(2)),the fire growth rate(1.64 kW/(m^(2)·s)),the total smoke produce(1.5 m^(2))and the char residue(45.7%)are the lowest,the UL94 test reaches V-1 level,and the flame-retardant effect is the best.Finally,the PET/MPP/ZB synergistic flame retardancy system is ideal by comprehensive comparison of the three properties.
