摘　　要：《上海孤儿》对三种异客进行了描摹:罗得式异客的不好客折射出近代以来民族观念强化后导致了一系列战争、冲突、纷争;俄狄浦斯式异客问题则反映了现代社会人性的偏狭化及相互的敌视状态;只有苏格拉底式异客因为自我身份难以确定,带有一种国际化视野,对人普遍比较好客、友爱,这是石黑一雄所推崇的一种异客,它或许能为人类走向永久和平提供一些有益的启示。When We Were Orphans describes three types of aliens.The inhospitable personality of the Rhodes-style aliens reflect a series of wars,conflicts,and disputes that have been triggered by enhanced national awareness in modern times.Oedipus-style aliens reflects the narrowness of human nature and the state of mutual hostility in modern society.Socratic aliens brings an international vision due to their vague identity,so they are generally hospitable and friendly.As alien admired by Kazuo Ishiguro,it may provide some fruitful inspiration for humankind towards permanent peace.
