摘　　要：新加坡图书馆空间的现代性特征很突出,对其进行探讨能为国内图书馆建设提供借鉴。文章通过时空结合的双向度解释,系统阐述其现代性特征的展现领域与形塑路径。研究发现,其现代性特征主要表现为空间构建特征、空间服务特征与空间人文特征,分别通过跨界融合、空间再造和场所精神来展现。The modernity characteristics of Singaporean library space are very prominent.So it can provide some experiences for domestic library development to probe into them.The paper systematically elaborates the coverage and shaping ways of the modernity characteristics by bi-dimensional narration of time and space.The findings are as following:the modernity characteristics mainly consist of those of spatial reconstruction,space service and space humanity,which are manifested respectively by cross-boundary integration,space reconstruction and place spirit.
